The Union County
Adult Education Center
is conveniently located in Morganfield
on South Mart St. (Please see map below
for directions). You may remember this
building as the Union County Board of
Education office. That office has moved
and we are now one of the new residents.
Free services we provide
include wi-fi and
computer access, a comfortable learning
environment, education resources, career
counseling and quality GED/Adult
Education instruction. FOR A LIMITED
TIME, ALL FOUR SECTIONS OF THE
GED TEST ARE ALSO FREE!

immediately by filling out the
pre-enrollment form. Just click on the

answer a few questions and hit the black
"send" button located at the bottom of
the page. You will be

Cathy began her education career as the first teacher's aide in Union County in 1971. Soon after, she finished her degree in secondary education.
"I taught Social Studies and English to all students from special needs to gifted. I earned my Master's, Rank I, and Director of Special Ed; soon after the last degree, I decided I wanted to 'downsize' and work part time for
Adult Education."
After spending 22 years in Secondary Education, Cathy, in her words, "moved across the street" to work at Union County Adult Education where she has been for 11 years.
"I enjoy working with adults who come because they have a desire to get their GEDs or pursue a college education or even just a different job." "I am a ' people person' and love working with all the adults who come into our office seeking jobs, GEDs, help with resumes, or just advice!"
