About WKEC Adult Education

The WKEC Adult Education program helps anyone 18 and older, who is not currently enrolled in a secondary school, with a number of educational goals like:

  • Preparing for the General Educational Development (GED) test

  • Improving your basic academic skills – gain speaking, listening, reading, writing, thinking, and math skills needed to acquire or advance in a job

  • Preparing for college - gain the necessary skills to meet entrance requirements for vocational or educational programs

  • Preparing for employment- obtain problem-solving and thinking skills needed to meet the growing demands around them

  • Learning English as a Second Language
